A collaboration between the NewMinE Lab and the schools of the city of Lugano, made eTreasure an opportunity to let children discover their city in a new and funny way during their school field trips.

Students walk the streets in groups, following SMS hints through the city, observing monuments, churches and locations, earning points for each correct answer. Teacher prepare a prize, and take the chance for preparation and follow-up activities - writing a narrative, or taking the most curious picture.

In spring 2008 over 100 children from grades 4-8 used eTreasure to dicover Lugano.
