eTreasure is an SMS based Treasure Hunt developed by the Webatelier.net, a laboratory of the University of Lugano (Switzerland).

eTreasure has been tested many times during the past 8 months and with great results. Moreover, eTreasure has also been presented in several international conferences about tourism and education. The project has been designed for two specific publics of reference: tourists and schools enjoying a visit to a city.

eTreasure presents a collection of given points of interest (POI). For each POI five messages (hints) have been created. These hints are given randomly to the users in order to manage different users or different teams playing at the same time.

The web site will be renewed in the next months, with more enhance features that will enable creators to create their own treasure hunt.
